EXTREMELY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. MUST READ FOR ALL USERS.[]

Now, as a wikia for Warriors fanfiction, we were very opening for users under the wikia's age minimum. However, Brighteh has recently alerted me that users are being blocked.

Why are they being blocked? Simple. They violated COPPA. What is COPPA, some of you out-of-United-States users may ask?

The problem was that they joined the wikia and were under thirteen. We've been welcoming to many users under thirteen, believing if they met the maturity needed, then they could join and write. This is the first time in five years it has posed a problem from WFW.

Three of our own users were blocked today. Apparently, they told their ages on one of our user's blogs and the wikia caught it. I did not expect COPPA to be taken this seriously, knowing that it is a US federal law impacting all of the world (extremely unfair and unjust).

You may be thinking, what's so bad about being blocked? Well, they're technically not blocked from WFW. Their accounts were deactivated, meaning they cannot use them on any wikia. How long are they deactivated? I do not know. They could be deactivated forever, or until the wikia decides they don't violate COPPA anymore. I honestly have no idea of knowing.

I am extremely worried. I do not know if they are checking only recent blogs, or blogs from past years where MANY users were underage and told everyone their ages. Even though we're older now, I do not know if they'll take those comments into consideration.

I don't know if WFW will get into trouble for allowing users like these to join, or if more users are going to be globally deactivated. I am scared.

Please, search for your contributions or anything to see if you've said anything about your age, whether it be a few days ago, or a few years ago. Ask admins to delete those comments and we'll gladly comply.

We're going to try out absolute best to make sure nobody of our own gets deactivated. If this is our price for letting in underaged users, then I refuse to pay it without a fight.

Thank you.
