That's right. I'm back.
Greetings, people of Warriors Fanfiction Wiki. Do you remember me? I'll forgive you if you don't, I have been away for a very long time... So long, in fact, that I've completely forgotten how to write one of these blog posts. What do you people even want to read about these days?
I guess I'll explain the reasons behind my year long absence:
- Hectic life - Recently, I've been told a pretty big family secret. To be completely honest, I don't understand why it took until now for my mum to finally tell me it. Seriously, it isn't that big a deal and it really doesn't matter all that much. However, because everybody was making it out to be the end of the world, I did find it strangely upsetting. And before anybody asks, I'm not going to reveal the secret to the internet. All I'm going to say is that I have a much bigger extended family than I realized and a third granddad.
- Hectic school life - So many tests that I thought I might die. Also, guess what? I'm going into my Fourth Year of Secondary School! What does that mean? I'll be sitting a lot of scary exams this time next year and in December I'll have the option to leave school. For good. What?!! How is this happening to me? And if I thought that was terrifying, my baby sister is starting school! I feel too old!
- My social life is going down the drain - My best friend has moved school and - yeah... Last night I found myself sitting on the floor and eating peanut butter out of the jar while listening to The Smiths. I think I might just be a bit sad. On the plus side, I have become closer with some of my friends. Kind of. I've discovered Kestrelpaw. I always knew that she existed, but I had never really talked to her. Mostly because I was a tad embarrassed because I had no idea whether she was a girl or a boy (I was convinced that she was a boy until I saw her walk into the girl's changing rooms and got a bit confused). I'm glad that I finally did make friends with her because she is kind of amazing and incredibly funny.
- Scary NEW things - I've been writing my own book. A proper novel that is completely my own. It's really fun and exciting, but at the same time it kind of scares the pants off me. It's very different from anything I've ever written. It's about a misunderstood boy called Cameron who is kicked out by his mum for doing naughty things and has to live with his crazy granddad. It involves magic, a nerdy boy called Aaron and I'm going to throw a boat in there somewhere. Anyway, that's been taking up most of my spare time.
- The ups and the downs - Well, mostly it's just been downs. Not to keen to go into this. I'm not sure if it was depression or stress, but it wasn't fun. I'm just glad I seem to have gotten rid of it for now.
- The weather is making me confused - yes, I am all over the place because of the weather. On Friday, roads were closed because it was so snowy but yesterday it was so hot that I could go outside in shorts and a t-shirt...
But I'm back now!!! Hopefully for good!
