Birthday Party[]

On Tuesday the 17th of August it was Cousin B's fifth Birthday. So, on her special day, she wanted the family to come down. Grudgingly, my mother drove me, Ben and Amy down to their house while my Grandma, Granddad and Uncle B collected Aunty B and came down later.

Aunty A likes to bake, so you can imagine the table; covered in food. Well, we scoffed the lot. I took the potatoes, Grandma the chicken pops, Aunty B the dip and breadsticks and Uncle B everything (especially the sausage rolls). Yeah, my family likes food! With the exception of my younger brother who is literally forced to eat. So yeah, that was fun.

During the time when we were eating, Cousin A was eating a doughnut. Amy was sitting in her chair. This is what he did, bearing in mind that he's autistic.

"Um... Amy... Would you like some?" he holds out the doughnut. Amy gurgles, and smiles happily. "Come on, you know you want a bite!" I loved that!! (Amy can only eat baby food and she certainly can't talk). And we did some more stuff that I can't really remember.

Nightmare Car Journey[]

My mother sucks at maps so she asked my uncle for directions home that I could read out to her. But it was only when we were actually driving that I realized I couldn't read the writing. So I managed to make out what it said, looked up and said;

"Mum, this is the turn off." She replies,

"No it's not." She drives past it.

"Yes it is." Then there was some shouting because we were on a one-way street. More shouting.

"Talk to me," mum says.

"But if I talk to you-"

"Shh! I'm trying to concentrate!"

It was like that all the way into Aberdeen and all the way home. I was almost in tears by the end of it!!

School :([]

So it was school today. School is so rubbish. Especially the Academy. No jeans (not even black), no trainers (still, not even black) and the yuckiest blue and yellow ties I have ever seen. It was a drag today, especially now that my best friend moved and I barely knew anybody. And they changed the bus times and didn't tell us. My dad had to drive me to school!!

Second Day of School :([]

Ugghh.... Getting up at 6:50 is hard. But at least I didn't miss the bus today. Horribly boring day. The only exciting thing was science when our teacher was asking questions and said that she would pick somebody who didn't know the answer to answer. She made the girl beside me cry!!
