Happy One Year Anniversary!
Well, I am a few days late, but that doesn't mean that I can't have a virtual celebration over a blog post. April 27th, 2015 marks my one year WFW anniversary. First, I read Arti's War, so intrigued by the characters and story. I knew that I wanted to produce something like that, so I began writing, and I found help in many users, new and old. Those comments and chat conversations have strengthened the way I write and the way I look at literature in general.
This wiki, by far, is the one that I have formed the strongest bonds with. I found users who were willing to deal with my nooby self (which hasn't improved much, as you can see), and write constructive comments. I have met very few people who can take it upon themselves, and truly pull in everything that you have read, and still be able to find ways to improve it.
My past year on WFW has consisted of many uncompleted stories that I haven't had the heart and time to finish (that I keep telling myself I will), but more importantly, many tales and characters that have filled me with such wonder and awe. I met users who were humorous and wrote touching stories that were so easy to follow and understand. I met others, who were patient, kind; who wrote terrifying stories that made my blood run cold, running shivers up my spine.
I want to thank each user here for writing these stories, seemingly conjured right out of Imagination's hands. I want to thank you for paving the road ahead, leading me to learn and understand so much more than I did when I clicked "Publish comment" on War.
