Okay! I'm gonna start this now since I'm going on vacation soon and when I come back, I want to start all the fun stuff since I'll start to get busier as summer goes on and my summer is sadly very short
So there's actually two events I'm hosting this summer so stay tuned! You join both, or one, or neither I guess but if you weren't joining you wouldn't be reading this ;)

Commenting Contest![]
I always like to add a twist to this one because this is the third time we've done it, and so this time, there will be tiers! I'll explain how this will work and hopefully it won't be too confusing.
There will be levels that you have to go through by commenting and you'll get points based on the levels instead of length like I used to do. I'm going to give you categories and you'll be told to comment through those categories to move up tiers and earn more points.
This contest will start on June 22 and end on July 22 (any later I might be gone to another trip soooo)
I will keep track of what you're doing on here as best as I can so you can use it as a reference for what you've done!
Please put at the top of all your comments "COMMENTING CONTEST" so I know to count it.
For bonus points, please indicate you want it to be a bonus point and I will accept it if you've met earlier requirements for the Tier. This way I know if it's for the tier under or the one you're in. All bonus points must be required before you move on to the next tier to be counted.
Tier One - 1 point each[]
This is where participating users can submit 1 story they want read. You MUST read through all the submitted entries (entries will only count if you submit it before June 22, when the contest starts.) to move on to Tier Two. All entries will earn you 1 point, regardless of length. (If it is a show, I will give you one point per episode, you only have to read 3 episodes to consider it done!)
NOTE: if you've commented on a story that is in this section before the contest, comment on any sections you HAVENT read yet or do a new comment catching anything you might have missed the first time.

Once you've read all the stories linked in this section, you can move on to Tier 2!
Tier Two - 3 points each[]
You must comment on:
- 2 short stories (one MUST be a completed story; the other can be of any length) (each story will give you 3 points; but if both stories you read are complete, I might throw in an extra point ;))
- 3 episodes of a show (MUST BE SAME SHOW) (each episode will count as 1 point)
- 1 one-shot that is COMPLETED (hint: dogwood's contest had some entries that are one-shots) (3 points)
- 1 song-fic (no requirements) (3 points)
- NOT REQUIRED: for extra bonus 5 points go find a COMPLETED story that hasn't been commented on before (and has to be a user that is actively around) and comment on it [NOTE: this does NOT count as a qualification for the 2 short stories you must read] [HINT: i hear wetty has some fantastic stories :)]
'* note for above: if the story has only a comment from this competition, you are allowed to comment on it to earn the bonus five points. so in reality, all the competitors can comment on the same fanfic to get 5 points lol
Once you've finished this Tier you can move on to Tier 3!
Tier Three - 5 points each[]
You must comment on:
- 5 short stories (three MUST be completed stories, the others can be of any length) (each story will give you 5 points) (sorry no extras in this section this time i want you guys to go find the unfinished gems too)
- 5 episodes of a show (can be different shows! but try to stick to the same one if you can) (each episode will count as 1 point)
- 3 one-shots that are COMPLETED (5 points each)
- 3 song-fics (no requirements) (5 points each) (note: hopefully you don't run out of one-shots and songfics to read LOL i'll try to watch out for that)
- NOT REQUIRED: for extra bonus 10 points go find 5 gem stories that have less than 3 comments (from users not by the author) and comment on them! (2 MUST BE COMPLETED) (this is COMPLETELY separate from the 5 stories you must read as a requirement. Those will be tallied first before this one [each story you read will be worth 2 points but hey it's bonus no arguments)
Once you're done, move on to Tier 4!
Tier 4 - 10 points each[]
If you're here, lucky you! You get to comment on anything you like. BUT once you comment on someone's fanfic, you must choose another active person and comment. If you can go through all the competing users and the staff (Rainy, Wetty, Brighty, and me!) I'll give you 10 points extra :)
Also, if you read all the story challenges, I'll give you 10 points more :D
All comments you make in this Tier will be worth 10 points but if you meet the two bonus requirements you'd be adding on 20 more points.

Story Challenge![]
If you remember like a year ago, I made this story challenge where you submit a short form and I scramble all the elements and return to you a new form. So like almost none of us finished our stories but heyyyy we can do better this time! xD Prizes will be given out to people who finish by the deadline!
This challenge will go from June 22 to July 22 one month to write! I'll lowkey be in school almost any later than that (fingers crossed I'll be on a cross trip that prevents me from extending the deadlines) so I want this to be definitely finished in the summer.
