I got more university offers :D :D :D
2016 has been a mixture of highs and lows.
The death of David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Terry Wogan have definitely been some of the lowest points. One of my favourite musicians, one of my favourite actors and one of my favourite radio broadcasters. This year my grandad was also diagnosed with an advanced stage of CUP (cancer of unknown primary). He is still going strong and is currently undergoing chemotherapy in an attempt to extend his life, but it has definitely been a very sad time for my family.
On the other hand, my two baby cousins were born in late January. Two baby girls; Sadie and Arabella. Both born on the same day in the same hospital :D
I have a third cousin due in late March and am so excited to meet him/her!
Perhaps one of the most exciting things that has happened in 2016 is getting accepted into university!!!
As well as my unconditional from Aberdeen, yesterday I received an unconditional offer from the University of Dundee and a conditional offer from the University of St Andrews. Woohoo!!!!
Still waiting on Glasgow and Edinburgh, but you have no idea how happy I am xD
If I'm able to get an A and a B in my exams, I could get to go to St Andrews and attend the 4th best University in the UK!! How did this even happen?!!
Although I didn't get my dream of being accepted into med school, I honestly think neuroscience is the next best things. I get to study conditions such as Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, autism... And who knows where this may lead? Maybe if I do well enough, I could pursue med school later in life.
IM MOVING OUT IN SEPTEMBER??!!! Its so crazy, I feel like I'm still 10 but I will be 18 this year and I'm moving out into the world in September?!
