So, with SOPA all over and done with, many of us are happy. Unfortunately, there's kinda been another law in the background...
ACTA.
ACTA stands for "Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement." And you know what sucks? The talks have been going on since 2008. And almost nobody has heard of it.
I found out a couple of weeks ago, but I thought it was going to be another SOPA. "OMG INTERNET SHUTTING DOWN END OF THE WORLD OH NOES!"
So, what is ACTA?

ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) is a new law that was originally developed in 2006 by US and Japan. It would apply to the foudning countries, and the countries that have since joined the discussion - to Scotland, Australia, the EU, England, South Korea, Canada, and some other countries. And it will be slowly rolled out to the rest of the world. So that means EVERYONE on this wiki is effected. Well, at least my friends are. And that's close to the entire active wiki. :P
Why it's bugging me[]
Okay, here's the thing.
31 COUNTRIES HAVE SIGNED ALREADY. All the countries I listed above have SIGNED. They need ratification from 6 states before it becomes a law. And the bam. The entire internet is screwed.
