Here's to the days of lore, when I joined the wiki and hated GB for his overbearing, perfectionist traits. When Sparrowsong was a good admin and I was a nobody.
Here's to the days of Random Parties on Shistar's blogs, where a picture of a duck floated around for a while because y'all were weird like that.
Here's to Warriors of the Lake. If that's not an indicator of how much I've grown, I don't know what is.
Here's to all the people who helped me through cancer in any way possible, and to Stareh's mom, who offered to send me a card. May StarClan bless Stareh's mom.
Here's to the days on the IRC, the time spent writing stories, songfics, and angry blogs. Here's to trusting the wiki for a weekend vacation and coming back to find it in complete chaos. Here's to the time I started editing more often on another wiki and got lots of messages as a rollback because people were desperate for help, any sort of help (that's when I met Wetty and Arti, jeez guys).
Here's to each individual person who I have talked to and interacted with and enjoyed my time with, if I've named you or not (there are TOO MANY OF YOU). Here's to the time we spent together, here's to the lives we changed, here's to the stories we wrote and here's to Blazeblaze. Here's to the people on here with kind souls that never give up, here's to the people on here who wanted to give up, here's to the people on here who appreciate the phrase, "MY JIBBLETS ARE FALLING OUT!" Here's to MistClan. Here's to Join MoonClan. Here's to Ragnor. Here's to any other RP site I have participated in and forgotten about.
And here's to the future. Guys, in the past three days I've taken college courses, gotten an interview for my dream job, and an opportunity to be promoted at my current job. I've finished the majority of my high school career. I've met new friends from my school next fall. I've applied to the Honors program at my school next fall. I've signed away my medical information to my mother for the rest of my life. Hi
As time has passed, I've become more and more nostalgic and reflective. All I want before I go away to school is to function once again in a place where I can be slightly immature, slightly strange, and completely myself. I can't go back to the YMCA as a kid, I can't shop for clothes in places like Gymboree, I can't whine and pull at my mommy to PLEASE pour me some apple juice, so I've decided that I'm going to hang around here more.
That does not mean I'm going to be an admin. Hell, I don't understand why I have admin powers still. Arti's fault, I swear. I won't be using them unless I want to sneakily rollback a page. I'm just gonna be hanging around with y'all and writing stuff and editing stuff and chatting with all of you.
I'm doing this for me. Yes, I left. Yes, it was messy. I apologize. But I need somewhere to be... nostalgic. Childish. Slightly annoying. Until I start my summer job.
I hope I'll be welcomed back, I have an idea for a short fanfic already.
Okay.... I have got to stop writing this blog.
