Death of Hunger
Food was suddenly scarce in WindClan. No prey were spotted for about 2 weeks! Darkpelt just couldn't take it. Five cats have already died of hunger. At that time, Clans were only allowed to hunt their territory's food. When they begged at the Gathering for an exception, the cats all said no.
Soon Darkpelt decided to break this rule. He was traveling along the border of WindClan and ThunderClan and caught three mice, a blackbird, a shrew, and a bunch of other ThunderClan-ish food. But at least they could eat it. He took it back and lied to the WindClan cats. But someone scented the ThunderClan scent and refused to eat it. All refused. They all died except the leader, deputy, medicine cat, Darkpelt, and one other warrior.
To make sure this never happened again, they allowed hunting on other's territories.
