This is a songfic about one of my favorite songs, I See Fire by that Ed Sheeran guy! I also changed some lyric words to fit with the fanfiction....
Prologue[]
Oh, misty eye of the mountain below
Keep careful watch of my brother's soul
And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke
Keep watching over our trusted son
Blue walked to the sunrise. "Oh, misty eye of the mountain below..." he sung quietly, remembering his mother's lullaby. "Keep careful watch of my brother's soul..." he sung quietly, blood dripping out of his mouth, staining his white pelt. His blue eyes sparkled with fear. "And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke..." he murmured, "Keep watching over our trusted son...." he murmured. He blinked tears out of his eyes. He drew his paw across his chest, and sighed. He unsheathed his claws and raked his talons across his bloody chest. He collapsed to the ground, panting, and nothing.
"Blue!" screeched Red. Then Soul came. She blinked tears out of her eyes and raced over to Blue's body. She buried her muzzle into his chest. Her tiny, child eyes were filled with tears. Red whined. "My beloved brother, may you rest with the stars." he murmured. "Let's go home, pup. Ram will have something for you." he murmured. "We will bury him later..."
Chapter One[]
If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
Watch the flames climb high into the night
Blue groaned, blinking sleep from his tired eyes. He laughed. He blinked and looked at the pile of bones from the deer he and Red had eaten. He pawed at it's visible skull and groaned. "I'm tired. But I can see you're tired to the /bone/." he laughed, but his laugh died down as he saw Red staring at him. Red grumbled and he turned his head around and yawned.
