Explanation And Warnings
Moonshadow was born to ThunderClan. She has a loving family and a luxurious life many can only dream of. She plans on becoming a great leader someday, and with her special relationship with the deputy, it's likely that'll happen. But the innocence of a young kit is something many prey on... Moonshadow's whole life will be split in two, and her heart will shatter into pieces.
- This story is not for those who are easily offended or triggered by topics such as; emotional manipulation, death/gore, severe sickness, abandonment, starvation, severe self-doubt, and more. It is advised that if you are under the age of ten, an adult read with you.
- Moonshadow's Pain will include appropriate Warriors topics, like phrases such as fox-heart or mouse-brain, and sickness and death. Warriors does have abuse of herbs, which can indeed be fatal. Keep this in mind as you read.
- There are no warnings for when slightly triggering paragraphs come up, as this whole story is meant to be professional. If you feel at any time uncomfortable, stop reading or ask an adult to read with you.
- Not all of the chapters will be dark and gloomy! There will be bonus chapters that are from the point of view from a side-character to explain more about them. For example, I'm already planning a bonus chapter featuring some of the kittypets. (It's really wholesome!)
Trivia—I think I got too ahead of myself...
- Athena is based off of my friend's old kitten who she had to give away.
- Sparkbloom and Tigerflower's relationship is based off of the song, "Two Birds" by Regina Spektor.
- Yuki's name is Japanese for "snow". Tsuki's name is Japanese for "moon". Kosho's name is Japanese for "pepper".
- Warrior names do allow a Clan name as a prefix or suffix, as seen with Runningwind and Shadowsight. "Moon" is also a viable prefix or suffix, as seen with Moonflower and Ambermoon.
- Moonshadow is a demigirl and omnisexual. Although she seems ace/aro, she's not, just has trouble with relationships.
- I really love surrogate families. That's why Moonshadow's family is a surrogate one.
