A cream she-cat stood alone, watching the happy couple reunite. She couldn't stand how much Cloudtail loved Brightheart. She was ugly. Sure, she had her kits. But they would grow up, get their own mates. They would have lives. They would have cats who loved them. But the she-cat had nothing. Smoky had left her. Always loving Floss more. Cloudtail had helped her, but he had not really cared for her. He had always loved that ugly she-cat. The she-cat wanted nothing more than to be loved. She knew she could never be a warrior, a fighting beast. But she did know she could get a tom to love her, in just the right amount of time. But there would be the disposing of others. A plan began to form in the she-cat's mind. She knew exactly how to make it all work. "All we need know, is a tom foolish enough to help me."
Cold blue eyes struck through the forest. Leaving camp was a bad idea, but she knew it was the only way to make her plan come together.
She watched as a large tom made his way through the undergrowth. "I'm here. What is so important to you, that I meet you here?"
The she-cat laughed. "Oh Spiderleg. I keep forgetting how stupid you are. Don't worry, your part will come in due time."
Spiderleg winced. "Okay, but I'm not doing anything foolish."
The she-cat shrugged. "That's fine. I didn't ask for you to do the dirty work. I just need you on my side."
Spiderleg gulped. "What do you mean?"
The she-cat rolled her eyes. "You'll help me, and that's final!"
Spiderleg mewed, "I just want to know what you're going to do. I want to be able to help in any way I can."
The she-cat grinned. "We'll be taking out Brightheart. With that ugly thing gone, Cloudtail will have no one left but me."
Spiderleg sighed. "This won't work Daisy. Brightheart's no idiot. And even if she does die, Cloudtail still has Whitepaw. And I don't think he'll be moving on so fast anyway."Daisy tossed her fur. "Oh he will. That's where you come in. I'm not letting him escape me twice."
