"She's about to open her eyes!" an enthusiastic kit said, "Mother said she'd open her eyes tomorrow though." it sounded like a very calm kit "Maybe alderkit's right poppykit! she is gonna open her eyes today!" 'huh?..' I twitch and slowly open my eyes "wh-who are you...?" i said, "were your siblings mousebrain! and this is mama." a orange tom (flamekit) said, I looked at my mother and smiled "Hello hollykit, I am leaffall." she said licking me 'h-hollykit? wait a minute... That's me!' I thought "maybe you should go play with poppykit, flamekit, and alderkit." 'oh.. so those kits were my siblings..?' "o-okay!" I say and I accidently pounced Poppykit "sorry!" I look down "poppykit..?" "yes that's me! now I'll pounce YOU!" she jumped and I tried running but she catches me "hah!" she grinned "hey, mama said we would go outside of the nursery!" flamekit said "okay, okay." she let me up and I ran to the exit "hey wait for us!".
I ran to the exit "hey wait for us!" alderkit said, I looked at the camp shocked taking one step forward and a cat looked at me on a rock 'huh? why are they looking at me like that..?' I looked at the cat back and he smiled "Hello hollykit." 'h-how did they know my name..' "who are you?" I said taking a step back "I am mossstar! the leader of our clan, Fogclan." 'Fogclan, that's my home.' Alderkit was in a den so I followed "Oh, hi hollykit! this is the Medicine den." a cat said "H-hi.." I said "Hollykit! that's Fogwhisper, Cinderleaf, and Leafstripe!" alderkit said closing his eyes and grinning "Hello hollykit!" cinderleaf said, she looked so nice and fluffy "Would you like a tour?" 'yes! I want to!' "y-yeah." "YES!" Alderkit, Cinderleaf, and me walked around the camp seeing different dens but I was confused on why we weren't allowed in the Apprentice and Warriors den, I just shrugged it off and it finished "WOAH! that was so cool, i'd LOVE to be a medicine cat!" alderkit says he sounded and looked very happy it made me smile and have some enthusiasm "I can't wait to be warriors, and medicine cats!" I say smiling and he starts attacking me "hey!" "if you wanna be a warrior you gotta train, now come on fight me!!" he yelled, I rolled my eyes smirking and pouncing on him I was better then him.. I didn't know why. "YOU WERE SO COOL!" He looked so happy "C'mon I wasn't THAT amazing." I smiled and attacked him "Hollykit! Alderkit! Poppykit! Flamekit!" it sounded like mom so I went back to the nursery with my brother's and sister "bedtime." "Oh come on!" "you need sleep dummy!" while Flamekit and Poppykit were arguing me and alderkit laid down next to our mother closing our eyes and slept.
I opened my eyes seeing my siblings still asleep I got up closing my eyes and yawning then I opened my eyes "Guys get up!" I yelled all of them opened their eyes "five more minutes.." "right now!" "ugh, fine." poppykit and alderkit got up, flamekit also got up "before you go, you kits know that today is your apprentice ceremony right?" "yeah!" alderkit says "and you need to clean." alderkit groaned "fine..." she licked alderkit's fur "do we even need to clean?" flamekit says "yes, it is very important." after we all got cleaned we got out and waited for mossstar to call a ceremony, then he comes out and says this "all cats get out of the fog gather around here for a clan meeting." all of the warriors and apprentices came out of their dens and sat down around the high-rock "Today we will have 5 new apprentices, lionkit, hollykit, alderkit, poppykit, and flamekit." "Hollykit step-forward." I took a step forward I was very excited, "Hollykit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Hollypaw. Your mentor will be Stepclaw. I hope Stepclaw will pass down all he knows on to you." Stepclaw touched my nose with his and I smiled and he smiled back Poppykit, alderkit, and flamekit has become apprentices with hollykit and flamekit being warrior apprentices and alderkit being a medicine cat apprentice, poppykit's mentor was foxpetal and alderkit's mentor was cinderleaf and for flamekit addersky.. I guess I shouldn't be calling them as their kit names now "Hollypaw! my training his tomorrow what about yours?" "tomorrow too alderpaw." we got to our new dens alderkit now lives in the medicine den and me, poppykit and flamekit lived in the apprentices den but then we heard about a kit named brightkit "there was a kit named brightkit who got killed by someone." all the apprentices gasped and kept on asking questions so me and my siblings had to discuss the issue "Brightkit's dead poppypaw, I don't know who did it but I feel like it's foxpetal." alderpaw said, poppypaw unsheathed her claws "N-no it isn't him! THERE IS NO WAY IT'S HIM!" "Poppypaw-" poppypaw cut flamepaw off "NO ALDERPAW IT'S NOT HIM AND IT WILL NEVER BE HIM!" she scratched him giving him a one on the nose "ouch!" she snarled at him and ran away to the apprentices den I looked angry at her so I ran to her "Why did you do that?! he was just thinking!" I said with my claws unsheathed she ignored me and she just slept 'Why did she go over-protective over her mentor?' I laid down at my nest looking at the stars thinking about foxpetal.
I woke up at some forest, 'where am I?' I got up and tried running back to fogclan but it was no use I couldn't find it, until I heard mewing so I followed it and it was "F-foxpetal and BRIGHTKIT?!" foxpetal pounced on brightkit and scratches her in the neck and she lied down at the grass and died I gasped with blood on my paws and face and cried, and everything turns black "Hollypaw, wake up." I sobbed looking for the voice 'LEAVE ME ALONE, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!' "HOLLYPAW WAKE UP!" I opened my eyes crying seeing flamepaw "f-flamepaw..." he looked so worried I cried and hugged him "I WAS SO WORRIED!" he yelled "C-calm down... it was a dream."
after that dream stepclaw trained me about fighting "keep your claws in." I nodded and attacked him, he pinned me and I threw him "you're pretty good. That's enough training-" "HELP! HELP!" 'huh?' me and stepclaw followed the voice and what I found scared me to DEATH. "Quilpaw sh-she's... DEAD! A MOSSCLAN CAT K-KILLED HER AND-" while he was talking I looked at the body and freaked out, in my mind 'we aren't safe, they'll kill us all..' Tears were in my eyes and I ran away "HOLLYPAW WAIT-" when I got back to camp everyone looked at me with scribbles on their faces "Hollypaw... HOLLYPAW!" I closed my eyes and opened them to see that everything's back to normal and I saw lionpaw "who are you... and how do you know my name..?" "I'm lionpaw, I was from the ceremony remember?" 'h-he's nice.' poppypaw looked so angry, it's almost like if she's jealous he took me to the apprentices den and he made me lie down "stay here. I'll go get you some prey okay?" "o-okay." I blushed as he walked away and I smiled.
I opened my eyes with prey on the floor, "The mouse that Lionpaw gave me." I put the mouse on my nest saving it for later and I see Foxpetal and Poppypaw training but I was very suspicious of Foxpetal but I shrugged it off and just went out out of camp 'a bird, that would be perfect for Lionpaw!' I crouched waiting for the right time and I pounced on the bird and caught it 'YES!' I ran back to camp and tried finding Lionpaw "Where is he?" I said but then I found him laying down on his nest he looked sad so I went in the den "Are you okay?" he cried getting up "My father, I just remembered when he died he took care of me and would always try to keep me alive. I miss him." When he said that I felt bad for him so I gave him the bird "I love this, thank you." he said, he ripped some parts and gave some of it to me "Thanks lionpaw." I blushed and started growing closer to him that was when we both had a crush on eachother, when it was night me and lionpaw snuck out of camp and we were playing and talking "gotcha!" I said giggling "Hey!" he chased after me and we both laughed I have to say that I love him.
'What happened last night...? Oh wait, I was with lionpaw.' I saw lionpaw asleep so I went out of the den, I smelt the fresh air inhaling and exhaling. "it sure is beautiful out here." Lionpaw got up and got out of the den, getting out of the camp "where's he going?" he came back with some prey and put it on the pile 'I-i like him, he is so nice-' "All cats get out of the fog gather around here for a clan meeting." 'What is this about...?' "Hollypaw, you have finished your training it is time for you to become a warrior, do you promise to be very loyal and fight for your clanmates?" he said "I do." "then it is settled. Hollypaw from this day you'll be known as Hollystream." I smiled looking at Lionpaw "Hollystream! Hollystream!" Lionpaw closed his eyes and grinned "Congrats!" Timeskip. I guess I'm hollystream now, Alderpaw is now Aldersight, Poppypaw is now poppyleaf, and lionpaw is Lionlight I think it is time I confess to him about my feelings, "Li-lionlight..?" I said blushing "hm?" "I have something to tell you." "what is it?" "You know.. i've had a crush on you for a long time and I was thinking if we could be together?" I sweated and thought 'Maybe he doesn't love me.. Maybe he hates me.. what if-' "Yes! I have felt the same feeling we can be mates!" I blushed and he licked my ear we were mates now.
I walked out of camp with aldersight helping him get herbs, Congratulations on having a mate Hollystream!" he grinned "Thanks!" we kept on walking trying to find herbs, until we accidently got in thunderclan territory with a cat there "Uh hi-" "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THUNDERCLAN TERRITORY?!" they said hissing "Were searching for herbs." I said hissing back "WELL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! OR I'LL ATTACK." "annoying thunderclan cats." I said running back to our territory with aldersight "Ugh." I scoffed, finally we found some herbs and they were some golden rods and tansy's "Thanks for helping me Hollystream." "No problem." I walked back to camp seeing Lionlight and I smiled "Lionlight!" I yelled to him, he smiled back and walked over to me "how are you Hollystream?" he licked me "I've been doing great!" I blushed "By the way, how's Aldersight?" he said "he's doing great, but I need to talk to you in private." I said, we walked out of camp "what is it?" "I am expecting... Kits..." I said and I was scared of what he'll say "Really?! OH MY STARCLAN THIS IS AMAZING! I CAN'T WAIT!" he hugged me and I smiled licking him "me too-" "HEY! SINCE YOU GOT IN MY TERRITORY I GUESS WE'LL HAVE TO FIGHT!" 'Not him again..' I thought, Lionlight snarled and unsheathed his claws "Leave her alone." he took one step front "WH-WHY SHOULD I SHE-" he pinned the thunderclan cat down and scratched him "leave." the cat sweated and ran off "Th-thank you lionlight.." he walked up to me "Let's get you to camp." he said we go back to camp and I saw Poppyleaf going out with Flamepool, 'Maybe they're hunting?' I didn't think to much of it so I got to the warriors den and slept with Lionlight.
'Where am I...?' I said waking up in a field seeing Lionlight's dead body 'LIONLIGHT!' "NO, NO, NO, NO!" I cried with many tears on him and everything turns black "Hollystream wake up." "WAKE UP." I opened seeing Lionlight worried "S-sorry it was just a dream.." "I'm just worried for you though..." he licked my ear and I smiled wiping my tears.
got up and walked out of camp.
(Lionlight’s POV) I walked out of camp and I saw some birds so I tried hunting one of them but failed 'Next time Lionlight, next time.' I stretched and yawned until I heard bushes rattle “huh? Who’s there?!” I hissed with my claws unsheathed [this is gonna be sad :’)] it rattled one more time and two cats jumped out pouncing on me “HEY STOP!” one of them grinned and scratched me on my eye “OW!” I hissed “We're foxpetal’s allies, but he’s not our leader, I AM.” “FO-FOXPETAL’S?!” I couldn’t believe that he would betray us, but then one of them clawed me on my belly with a lot of blood dripping down and I cried laying down and I couldn’t get up. “This is it, I’m joining him but I don’t wanna die.” I sobbed “well. Atleast she’s safe.” I smiled and cried blood kept dripping and I grinned while crying 'Hollystream’s safe..' and I died, I didn't move a muscle with my eyes kept open.
I was in the medicine den sweating, “where is he...?” I kept on thinking about Lionlight ‘What if he betrayed us? What if he’s DEAD-’ “Hollystream.” I jumped hissing but then I realized it was Aldersight “Sorry!” “it’s alright.” Aldersight looked really sad and he walked towards me “Lionlight is… dead.” My eyes opened widely with my claws unsheathed and tears coming up. “N-NO I DON’T BELIEVE IT-” he dropped a dead body of lionlight and I cried, “NO!” I laid my head on the body sobbing. my heart felt broken, everything felt colorless, he was my only hope and now it’s gone “I’ll give you some privacy.” Aldersight walked away and two cats came in. “It’s time to bury him.” I cried giving the body to them.
Timeskip I walked to his grave crying wishing that he was still alive, “I love you Lionlight.”
I was in the warriors den asleep until I woke up, “I can’t sleep without him.” I got up and walked out of the den. “I need to leave, I can’t just give birth here.” I ran out of the camp looking at it and turning away “I have to go somewhere safe.” I kept on running until I bumped into a young tom “ow!” I rubbed my head “s-sorry!” “Who are you?” I asked “I’m skypaw! I am from riverclan.” he grinned happily “Your not supposed to be here though.” I said, he stopped grinning “b-but I’m running away from my clan because I don’t feel safe anymore..” ‘Just like me?’ “Me too.” I got up and put my paw in front of him. “We’ll leave tomorrow.” I said he smiled and grabbed my paw getting up “Okay!”
The next day. “Huh?” I opened my eyes to see a brown tom “Hollystream your awake!” He looked older and he had orange eyes. “Who are you?” “I’m smallpelt, I was an apprentice when you were 3 moons old.” he blushed but I didn’t notice “C-can we talk outside of the camp..?” he said “sure.” I said but I saw Lionlight’s figure as a ghost and I gasped ‘Lionlight?!’ it disappeared and I wasn’t surprised anymore “oh.” I just walked out of camp and he sat down “Hollystream! I love you, you are really good at hunting and you are very pretty and I think you might be the one since well... Lionlight is dead.” he said and I unsheathed my claws ‘Calm down hollystream. Calm down.’ “no.” he gasped, it looked like I broke his heart so I felt bad but I had to do it “No smallpelt, just because Lionlight died doesn't mean I'll just move on. My heart belongs to lionlight not you, not quilleaf, not anyone, but lionlight.” I said looking at the taller tom.
(Smallpelt’s POV) I snarled and walked away “Lionlight, she always cares about him more. I mean COME ON! He is just her mate, she has to move on!” I laid down on my nest and I unsheathed my claws frustrated.
I woke up in the middle of night yawning, and I got out of the camp “phew.” I started running looking for skypaw until I saw him swimming out of the camp “Hi! You…?” “Hollystream.” I helped him get up and we walked until we could find a place to live. We made two nests in a temporary den “goodnight.” he said, closing his eyes. I just looked at the stars “Lionlight, I miss you.” and I cried a little and I wiped my tears, closing my eyes and sleeping.
I opened my eyes, yawning seeing skypaw gone, “Skypaw?” I said getting up “I’m right here!” he said “I think I found one!” He says again, I looked down to see a couple of cats there. “Excuse me?” I said “hm?” “listen I am from fogclan and I am expecting kits, but I just don’t like my home so please. Let me stay with you?” I said sweating and looking at skypaw “fine.” they said, I sighed at relief getting in their home “where do I stay?” “here.” I got in a den lying down on a nest “who are you?” “Fawn that Struggles to Stand, call me fawn though.” she said “This is the tribe of rushing water? I’ve heard stories about you.” skypaw says “yes, and I’m a healer.” fawn said gathering some herbs “now leave, this is private.” she pushed him off “fine.” he said walking away and sitting down outside of the tribe, a cat came up to me “Hi! I am Leaf that Falls into the Sky! Call me leaf.” leaf said as he got some herbs. (this is where she gives birth but I don’t like doing kitting scenes so…) I closed my eyes and opened them to see 4 kits which were all toms, I sweated and smiled while Lionlight’s ghost was next to me smiling looking at the kits and he disappeared. “They are beautiful.” I licked one of them “four healthy kits, what are you gonna name them?” leaf said, “The small black one will be Shadowkit, this kit who looks like my mate will be beekit, the white one with black paws and belly will be frostkit, and the black one with white ears and paws will be rootkit!” I said crying and licking them.
I was sleeping in the tribes den, and I woke up seeing Skypaw talking to a tribe and I heard him call the cat ‘bird’, I looked at my kits and they were still asleep “I miss fogclan.” I said looking at the sky, I felt like Lionlight’s ghost was stalking me so I licked one of my kits to calm myself down, shadowkit mewed trying to find me so I held him and put him with his brothers and started drinking the milk “if only my family was here to see this, including lionlight.” I said while one of the kits stopped drinking and slept “I’ll keep you all safe forever, even if I die trying.” I said looking at the kits and smiled, laying down my head and I slept.
“Mama? When will Shadowkit open his eyes?” rootkit said “Soon rootkit.” I said worryingly, ‘Please don’t die, please don’t die, please-’ Beekit pounced on frostkit, “Take that!” Beekit said fake scratching him “fine, you win…” frostkit said, shadowkit started moving and his eyes were opening slowly “m-mama…? Where’s mama...” shadowkit said struggling to get up “mama is right there.” rootkit said dragging him to me, shadowkit smiled finally getting up “you can stand now!” I said licking him “y-yeah!” he said grinning happily “play with your siblings, okay?” “Okay mama!” he ran to them stopping once he got closer and they started playing “I’ll be the warrior!” he said pouncing on shadowkit, and shadowkit made an oof sound “hey!” he threw him gently and rootkit laughed. “I think it’s time for them to leave and stay in fogclan.” I said getting up and yawning, grabbing shadowkit “mama where are you taking me?” “your real home.” I grabbed my 3 other kits and went out of the tribe, with skypaw waving at me “bye skypaw!” and I walked away with my four kits
I walked around the forest searching for fogclan, until it was night “Mama I’m sleepy..” Shadowkit said so I sighed and made a temporary den and I laid down on the nest with the kits walking toward me and laying down next to me and shadowkit laying down on me, and they all slept. I yawned and I slept too.
I woke up seeing all the kits awake playing “let’s just continue getting back home.” I grabbed all of them and got out of the den but I accidentally bumped into a cat who was… Aldersight! “Aldersight?!” I said, he cried and hugged me “I WAS SO WORRIED!” “Calm down, I was just living in the tribe temporarily.” I said giggling he giggled back “I just missed you-” he looked down seeing my kits “You gave birth to kits! They are all so sweet, what’re their names?” he said grinning “This one is frostkit, this one is rootkit, this one is beekit, and finally this is shadowkit, they are all toms.” “they’re all so cute, we gotta get you back to fogclan though.” “oh! Yeah.” I followed aldersight and the kits followed me and I grabbed shadowkit “were close.” we got to the territory and then finally we got back to camp, “Hollystream!” Leaffall ran to me, hugging me. “Hello leaffall!” I said giggling “I missed you, y’know that? We haven’t talked in a while and I was hoping that we could finally see eachother for once. I know you miss lionlight and you are probably very sad, but just remember that we're here okay?” she laid her paw onto mine and I started crying and smiling at the sametime “th-thank you leaffall..” I walked away wiping my tears and I put my kits on the nursery “there.” I said licking shadowkit, and I saw flamepool and poppyleaf looking at me weirdly “huh..?” They both looked angry so I ignored them and I paid attention to my kits. “Mama? Who is that?” shadowkit said, “that’s… Your uncle and aunt.” Flamepool walked up to me and looked at Shadowkit smiling “hello!” “hi…” shadowkit took one step forward and attacked his tail “hey!” he moved his tail away, shadowkit giggled “sorry!” He said rootkit was just silent as the 3 siblings were playing with him “I don’t trust him.” rootkit hissed quietly, he walked up to me yawning “oh, it must be a long day.” flamepool says “Yeah it was, c’mon kits get some rest.” “fine.” the kits laid down next to me sleeping I hope lionlight’s okay up there.” I looked at the stars with my claws unsheathed, I sighed and I just laid down crying.
‘Huh?’ I open my eyes to see a field of flowers ‘th-this dream again?’ I get up walking towards the field “hello? Anyone here?” I look down seeing blood, “Foxpetal.” I hissed then I ran so I could find him “I BET HE IS THE REASON LIONLIGHT’S DEAD!” I cried and I kept on running until I saw him smiling at me with Poppyleaf and I saw a corpse with her “Poppyleaf?!” a bunch of more cats came out “Hollystream! This is a warning, your clan is in trouble.” a cat appeared they looked shiny “You must kill poppyleaf.” they said “she’s my sister! I care about her very much.” I said, panicking, “please.” they disappeared and woke up panting “mama are you alright?” beekit said “yes dear, it was just a bad dream.” I said smiling “oh okay! But shadowkit is getting weird..” ‘what did he mean by weird…?’ I walked up to him, seeing him on the ground “Sh-shadowkit…?” I moved my paw closer to him “Shadowkit are you okay?” I touched him, moving him so I could see his face, and I gasped with tears in my eyes. “SHADOWKIT!” he was shaking with his eyes wide open and he was blinking so much, last but not least he had saliva coming out of his mouth, frostkit and rootkit cried a bit “mama… I-is he dead...?” ‘NO, I AM NOT LETTING A CAT DIE AGAIN!’ I held shadowkit and I ran to the medicine den. “ALDERSIGHT!!” I yelled, he jumped and spilled his herbs “WHAT IS IT! A-ARE YOU HURT?!” he sweated “N-NO IT’S MY SON, SH-SHADOWKIT!” I yelled again crying, he gasped as he saw him and aldersight grabbed him and ran back to his den “Stay here hollystream!” he said, I panicked running to leaffall “Mother! Please take care of frostkit, beekit, and rootkit. I need to get out of camp!” I told her, she nodded and I ran to the exit sitting down and panting until I saw poppyleaf, and I thought about that cat from the dream ‘you must kill poppyleaf.’ I just shaked my head “no I won’t kill her.” I looked at the sky snarling. “Is this a punishment from starclan?”.

What’s the forbidden..” I said curiously, foxpetal left telling poppyleaf to start a patrol, when he left I hissed unsheathing my claws and I pounced! “AH!” she screamed “get off me hollystream, or else I’ll kill you!” she threw me “YOU WERE THE ONE WHO KILLED LIONLIGHT, ALL OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT!” I yelled and she grinned, giving me a scar on my shoulder I scratched her and threw her “YOU KNOW, I DIDN’T KILL HIM MY CLANMATES DID IT AND I HELPED! AND I DIDN’T JUST KILL HIM, I KILLED STEPCLAW, HOLLYFUR, AND ADDERSKY!” when she said that I… snapped. “THAT’S IT!” I pinned her and I bit her neck, with blood pouring out she screamed in pain and I ripped some part of the neck out, she had wide open eyes and she wasn’t moving “Oh no, what did I do?!” Aldersight came up to me, “Hollystream, poppyleaf is not what you think she is-” “I know, is shadowkit okay?” I said, he nodded “But there is a slight problem with his eyes..” he said sweating, he walked away and I followed him when we got there I gasped, his eyes were facing backwards and he looked googley “m-mama do you hate me now, because of my eyesight…” he cried, with many tears “no sweetie, I don’t hate you I still love you. Even if you look weird.” I wiped his tears and held him and took him back to the nursery, “Shadowkit are you okay?” Frostkit said, “ye-yeah..” shadowkit said facing the wrong way, “let’s just sleep.” I said licking rootkit and beekit as they suckled the milk, shadowkit tried finding me and I held him, putting him with rootkit and beekit. Frostkit just slept next to me without suckling the milk. “Mama what’s it like in starclan?” beekit asked, “well… It’s very calm and nice there, filled with your loved ones who have died.” I said then rootkit asked, “will we ever see daddy in there?” he said, “yes my kit, yes.”.
