Blue walked to the sunrise. "Oh, misty eye of the mountain below..." he sung quietly, remembering his mother's lullaby. "Keep careful watch of my brother's soul..." he sung quietly, blood dripping out of his mouth, staining his white pelt. His blue eyes sparkled with fear. "And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke..." he murmured, "Keep watching over our trusted son...." he murmured. He blinked tears out of his eyes. He drew his paw across his chest, and sighed. He unsheathed his claws and raked his talons across his bloody chest. He collapsed to the ground, panting, and nothing. |

Prologue

"Blue!" screeched red. Then Soul came. She blinked tears out of her eyes and raced over to Blue's body. She buried her muzzle into his chest. Her tiny, child eyes were filled with tears. Red whined. "My beloved brother, may you rest with the stars." he murmured. "Let's go home, pup. Ram will have something for you." he murmured. "We will bury him later..."
