Forestclan

Prologue Rocks surrounded a clearing with a few trees and bramble dens. A brown tabby sat on a log looking at seven cats surrounded by more. The full moon shone on the rocks around the clearing. A stream went through the rocks to the clearing. The soft sound of the water going thought the rocks was all the cats heard for a few moments. Then the brown tabby lifted his head to speak. "Cats of RockVlan are here today to witness the banishing of Forestwing, Sandfern, Swoopclaw, Tinyspots, Airtooth, Creekwood, and Pigeonflight. They are banished for killing Fernlight's kits." Shocked gasps came from the cats outside the circle. The medicine cat apprentice, Thrushfur yelled to his mentor Airtooth. "How could you do this?" Forestwing, a silver tabby watched as he looked down at his paws. We didn't do this though Forestwing, Swallowface did it. "Loststar do you really think that it takes seven cats to kill a kit. We have found proof that Swallowface did it. You are just doing this to get rid of us because we know the truth." snarled Swoopclaw. Loststar jumped down from the log. Forestwing heard Loststar growl as he whispered to Swoopclaw. "Well you can do nothing about it." He jumped back on the log and announced, "These cats have to leave now!" Forestwing walked out of the camp with the other six cats. "We will go to the Moontree and ask StarClan what to do," she declared. The cats walked for a while onto the got to the edge of the rocks. Trees stretched out in front of them. At the edge of the forest was a tree covered in starlight. "All cats besides Sandfern, and Pigeonflight will meet StarClan." Sandfern, and Pigeonflight who were both pregnant nodded their heads in agreement. Forestwing and the rest of the cats jumped up onto a huge branch, big enough for many cats to lay on. Forestwing curled up and touched her nose to the bark. She opened her eyes and saw a gray tom standing in front of her. "you must pick a leader and a deputy. Your new clan will be known as the first part of the leader's name. When you have picked a leader come back the leader will come here and get nine lives." Forestwing woke up and jumped down. Theorning light was peeking over the horizon. The rest of the cats were there. "Since I was the medicine cat before we were exiled I will take that role," explained Airtooth. "Because everybody is here we need to pick a leader." "I don't want to be leader," stated Tinyspots. "I don't think anybody wants the clan name to be TinyClan anyway." "II don't want to live the first to lead the clan," commented Creekwood. "Forestwing should be leader," declared Sandfern. "I think Forestwing should be leader too," agreed Pigeonflight. "Anyone disagrees?" inquired Airtooth. No one spoke up so Airtooth announced, "Then if Forestwing wants to be leader then she will be." "I would love to be leader of ForestClan," Forestwing replied. "I say this before StarClan. Swoopclaw will be my deputy." The rest of the cats nodded their heads. Forestwing jumped up to the branch with Airtooth and she touched the branch with her nose and fell asleep. When she woke up she was staring at nine cats in the middle of even more cats. A light brown she-cat walked up to her. Logleaf thought Forestwing, my mother. "With this life I give you faith," Logleaf told Forestwing. Forestwing felt the life go through her. Logleaf walked away and a red tabby started walking towards her. I am Floatingstar the leader before Loststar.In this life I will give you unlimited energy." Forestwing watched as seven more cats came up to give her her remanding lives. Finchstripe, Larchheart, Brightmoon, Longwhispers, Highleap, Edgefur, and her brother, Fastkit. When she got all nine lives StarClan cheered,"Foreststar, Foreststar!" Foreststar had been leading her clan for six months. The camp was a clearing surrounded by hollow Willie and pine trees. In the middle of the camp was a log where Foreststar would call meetings at. All the cats lived in the hollows. Sandfern's kits Owlpaw, Hollowpaw , and Swimmingpaw had been made apprentice the day before. Swoopclaw was mentoring Swimmingpaw, Hollowpaw was being mentored by her father Tinyspot. Owlpaw was beeing mentored by Foreststar untill she found out she was expecting Swoopclaw's kits, today and he was now being mentored by Creekwood. Tinyspots their father was helping Swoopclaw with leading the clan while Foreststar was a queen. Pigeonflight and Creekwood's kit, Diggingkit was almost six moons old. Foreststar fell asleep that night. She opened her eyes and saw Logleaf "One will die a great leader and with a great power. One will die bravely. And one will die evil" Chapter one Blizzardkit didn't think it was fair. Her siblings Bugkit and Floweringkit would never let her play with them. They told her that since she only had three legs that she wouldn't be able to play with them. She was faster then Bugkit and Floweringkit. They were just saying that because didn't want to lose to a three legged cat. "Mom!" Blizzardkit whinnied to Foreststar. "Bugkit, and Floweringkit won't let me play!" "Tell them that I told them to play with you," Foreststar replied. Blizzardkit walked out of the tree hollow into the clearing. The sun shone down into the clearing. Blizzardkit's brother Bugkit, a silver tabby like his mother with yellow eyes was chasing Floweringkit. Fliweringkit's brown fur blended in with the ground as she ran away from Bugkit. Blizzardkit ran after Bugkit on her three legs. She easily over took Bugkit and then jumped on Floweringkit. Diggingpaw, Tinyspot's apprentice ran over and announced,"Owlpaw, Hollowpaw, and Swimmingpaw are getting their warrior names. That means I'll be a warrior before long!" Blizzardkit looked at him wondering what it would be like to be a warrior. "I can't wait until we are apprentices in one moon." stated Bugkit, "I want my mentor to be Swoopclaw because he's the deputy, but he is my father." Diggingkit paused for a minute while Forestar called all the cats to meet at Longlog. "I can't watch this. It will make me want to be an apprentice more." sighed Bugkit. "Fine with me. I'll watch with Diggingpaw." commented Floweringkit as she walked off with Diggingpaw. "I am going into the nursery will I wait for the ceromony to end," Blizzardkit told Bugkit. Bugkit followed Blizzardkit into the nursery until the ceromony was over. Swimmingstrike, Hollowlight, and Owlleap were doing their vigilant. "Let's play behind the nursery,"stated Bugkit when Floweringkit went to go see what they were doing. "Okay," replied both Blizzardkit, and Floweringkit. Blizzardkit ran behind the nursery to play along with her siblings. They started wondering off a little bit through the bushes and the trees. They saw that there was a strange brown tabby walking around with a grey she-cat. "We must tell Foreststar that there are two strange cats walking around. I will go my white fur is easier to be seen. The sun is going down and I can find my way better then you two" whispered Bizzardkit. She crept through the brush to until she got to the clearing. "Foreststar! There are two strange cats walking around," Blizzardkit shouted. The three warriors doing a vigil looked towards Blizzardkit as Foreststar ran towards her. "Where!" she urged. "A little ways behind the nursery, Bugkit, and Floweringkit are still there." Blizzardkit answered. "Tinyspots, Swoopclaw, and Pigeonflight come with me," called Foreststar. "Can I come with my mentor," questioned Diggingpaw. "As long as you listen to him," replied Foreststar. "The rest of you defend the camp." Foreststar went behind the nursery in the trees with the rest of the patrols. "Sandfern what if the cats are from RockClan? They don't know we exist." inquired Blizzardkit. "I don't know," Sandfern sighed. The light was gone by the time Foreststar returned with the rest of her patrol. Following them were the two cats, and Bugkit, and Floweringkit. "This is Loststar and Skyfall. Cats from RockClan." announced Forestar as she jumped up onto Longlog with Loststar following her. "I see that all of your cats aren't completely functional," meowed Loststar looking at Blizzardkit. "That is Blizzardkit," Foreststar growled. "If this was my clan I would have killed her along with Fernlight's kits. What is this? Can those three apprentices over there move or talk." Loststar meowed sarcastically. "Blizzardkit is faster and as strong as her siblings. Those warriors are having their vigilant." she snarled to Loststar. "Now that we know each other is here, if you step onto on rock in my territory then my cats will attack you,"stated Loststar. "Don't dare break the warrior code and kill one of my cats,"growled Foreststar. "Only if it's Blizzardkit," commented Loststar. "Skyfall, we are now going to leave. Oh and Foreststar since we never had two clans before will gather at the edge of the forest every full moon. If you don't listen to me I'll attack." Chapter two "Blizzardpaw your mentor will be Swimmingstrike." announced Foreststar. Diggingclaw was doing his vigilant while Bugpaw stood next to his mentor Owlleap. Floweringpaw's mentor was Hollowlight. Even though they had been warriors for only a moon Foreststar had picked them as mentors. "I'm going to show you our territory," Swimmingstrike told Blizzardpaw. Swimmingstrike and Blizzardpaw set out through the forest. Willow and pine trees flashed by as they speed through the forest. Swimmingstrike looked back every once in a while to see if Blizzardpaw was keeping up.When they finally got to the border Swimmingstrike, and Blizzardpaw stopped. "Because we only have one border we only patrol this side of our territory. If you not near this border and you get lost you can usually tell where the sent stops. The sun sets in the direction of RockClan. The sun is high in the sky now so you can't tell. Another thing to do is follow the setting sun until you reach RockClan territory. Then follow it to our territory. Don't ever cross the border or you'll give RockClan a reason to attack." lectured Swimmingstrike. "It's starting to get dark let's get to camp." Blizzardpaw used her whiskers to navigate through the dark. When she got back to camp she went into the apprentice den and fell asleep. Two moons later Blizzardpaw was hunting. She saw as a rabbit went by and took after it. She caught up to the rabbit in two strides then something weird happened. It was like the world slowed down but Blizzardpaw was still going the same speed. Everything slowed down expect for Blizzardpaw enough for an amazed Blizzardpaw to be able to walk up to the rabbit and sit there for a while without losing the rabbit. This is crazy concluded Blizzardpaw. She killed the rabbit and tool it back to camp. Everyone there was in slow motion too. Why am I not affected by this wondered Blizzardpaw. She sat down in front of Sandfern to ponder this question. Suddenly everything went back to the correct speed. Sandfern tripped over Blizzardpaw. "I'm sorry!" exclaimed Sandfern, "but you appeared out of nowwhere," Sandfern hurried off looking with amazement at Blizzardpaw. Blizzardpaw dropped her rabbit in the fresh-kill pile. Blizzardpaw went back out to hunt. She wanted to know if that would happen again. If it did she could get as many mice, rabbits, or voles as she could carry. Later in the day Blizzardpaw came back with her fifth load. Everyone in the clan was staring at her. Each load she carried was almost too heavy for her. On her tenth load she was finally done and everybody was still staring at her. She proudly glanced back at them. With this power she could help her clan. They would never starve. She could beat cats in battle without them knowing she was there. After her sixth load Foreststar had stopped all the hunting patrols. Her mentor Swimmingstrike was astonished at what she had caught. Foreststar walked over to Blizzardpaw, "Come with me." Blizzardpaw walked into the forest after Foreststar. "I am going to get Swoopclaw and Tinyspots, stay here," ordered Foreststar. Foreststar came back with Swoopclaw and Tinyspots, "show us how you did that," commented Foreststar. "Okay," stated Blizzardpaw. She took off through the trees until she reached her highes speed. She had learned that if she stepped backwards a few steps she would stop going fast. She ran around the forest, stopped in front of Foreststar, and stepped backwards a few steps. "Wow," commented Tinyspots. "I am going to talk to Swoopclaw and Tinyspots," stated Forestar. Blizzardpaw left and went back into camp.
