The story
Cake woke up and started to pad through the forest. She felt different. She could only walk on four legs and her powers were gone. "Fionna?" She called, nervous. Four cats burst out of the shadows.
"What are you doing on our territorry, kittypet?" A pretty black female spat.
"What's a... kittypet?" Cake asked, tilting her head to the side.
"A house cat. A cat who lives a soft life."
"I don't live a soft life. Wait... can lives be soft?"
"Save it." The cat hissed. "I suppose I'd better know your name before I take you to Aquastar."
"I'm Cake. What's your name?"
"I'm Duskshine. This is my apprentice, Cinderpaw, and Ebonysong and her apprentice, Blossompaw."
Cake studied the cats. All of them were females. Duskshine and Ebonysong were both very pretty black cats. Cinderpaw had a messy, ruffled gray pelt and her blue eyes were excited. Blossompaw looked horrified to be looking at a 'kittypet' and her ginger fur was bristling.
