Deemed Lostface, she felt utterly lost.
With only half her sight, she felt ready to give up.
She didn't see a light.
One cat, however, brought light back to her life.
Lostface depended on Cloudtail.
He had been the one to bring her back, after all.
But she never knew that, so she was confused of how close he was to her.
Lostface and Cloudtail, they became soulmates.
She trusted him with her life, he trusted her.
Too simple.
Bluestar slipped into insanity after her loyal deputy attacked her.
Her loyal deputy Tigerclaw, the one that was once a small, innocent kitten.
She didn't see a light.
The only one she did see was from Fireheart - no, Oakheart.
Oakheart couldn't bear to see her like that.
Fireheart felt lost without his leader.
When she fell into the chasm, it was Oakheart that urged Fireheart to leap over and try to save her.
...Fireheart would have done it anyway.
The endings to these two scarred cats' tales are different, yet the same.
They both found peace in the prescence of their loyal friends.
Their friends were their lifesavers.
Cloudtail was Brightheart's light, and Oakheart was Bluestar's.
One day, in a situation where you just want to give up,
you yourself might find a light.
