Prologue
A calico she-cat glanced around her camp once more before let out a sigh. Suddenly she felt something stir around her and a voice whispered, "Beware Lilypelt...secrets can't be hid forever," The cat named Lilypelt gasped,she saw blue sparkly eyes and the cat whispered, "Trouble is coming on the way,you have to be strong to survive..." the cat voice was fading,so is the outline.
"It nothing," Lilypelt muttered,she glanced at the bright sky. Whatever trouble is coming,I would be able to survive,for my clan. As for the secret...Lilypelt can only stop to shiver.
Chapter 1
"Come on,we are leaving!"
Sunpaw glanced up and saw his sister,Tinypaw was complaining. They have been choose to go to the gathering and Tinypaw is acting like she just become Clan leader. "Okay,Tinystar but you aren't gonna get me moving by rushing me." Sunpaw mewed as he returned to his lick calmly. Their brothers,-Shellpaw and Fawnpaw- scampered over. "You guys are so lucky to choose to go to the Gathering!" gushed Fawnpaw.
"I wish it was me!" sighed Shellpaw.
"It would be your turn next," promised Shellpaw's mentor,Skyfoot. "Now,when I come back I'll like to see you asleep in your nest,I don't want you to be too tire to train tomorrow," mewed Skyfoot more sternly.
"Okay! I would," promised Shellpaw,and give Fawnpaw a nudge then they bounded toward the fresh-kill pile.
"ThunderClan! Let go!" Lionstar gathered all his warriors with a wave of his tail and they plunged out into the forest. Sunpaw scampered after his clan leader with Tinypaw just behind him.
"Wow!" Tinypaw breathed. "It's so big!" Sunpaw have to admit that his sister was right. Cats of all clans turned to look at them. Sunpaw hesitated,not sure what to do until his mentor,Whiteblossom whispered, "Go talk to the other apprentices,listen closely to what they said,and don't said to much."
Sunpaw give a jerky nod and padded to a group apprentices crowded together. Mistpaw,Vixenpaw and Blazepaw of ShadowClan was mewing was their head bent together. Mistpaw give him a shy nod when he padded over. Vixenpaw give him a sharp intelligent look with her green eyes,and after a heartbeat dipped her head politely.
But Blazepaw give him a hostile look before turning back to the she-cats. Before Sunpaw could open his jaw to speak,Darkstar yowled, "Let the gathering began!" then turning to the other three leaders he mewed, "Which of you want to start?" he asked.
Lionstar stepped forward. "I am pleased to said we have four new apprentices,Sunpaw,Fawnpaw,Tinypaw and Shellpaw!" the cats around the clearing yowled the new apprentices name. Sunpaw sat straight up,feeling proud. I am a apprentice now!
"We are all well,greenleaf have brought plenty preys for us." mewed Lionstar before letting Lakestar speak.
"We are fine," mewed Lakestar, "I am pleased to said we have two new kits,Stonekit and Poolkit. And three warriors,Cinderclaw,Lakeshine,Shimmerpelt." she waited for the cheering to die and stepped back,Buzzardstar bounded forward, "We have three warriors too! Berrystrike,Eagleclaw and Ashpelt!" he waited until the yowling and cheering die before meowing, "We have managed to chase a fox away from our territory and that all WindClan need to report."
Darkstar was last. "ShadowClan have two new kits,Bramblekit and Meadowkit! We have three apprentices,Vixenpaw,Mistpaw and Blazepaw!" Mistpaw glanced at Sunpaw again,as if she was hoping he would cheer for her. Sunpaw was beginning to feel self-conscious when Vixenpaw gazed at him too,but after a heartbeat Vixenpaw muttered something to Mistpaw,Sunpaw caught a few words, "...must...attention....clan," Sunpaw wondered if they were talking about his clan. Hopefully aren't. Sunpaw glanced up at the leaders and saw that they were nodding to each other before leaping down from the rock.
