Blue Ice
Just a little mini-fic followng MoonClan ~A New Journey~ about Bluelight and Icestorm's forbidden relationship.
Bluelight slipped away from MoonClan's camp. Nobody noticed her slip through, luckily. She ran over to the shore as fast as she could, trying to get to Icestorm. The dewy, early morning grass felt wonderful under her paws, and the breeze stirring in her pelt. Once she arrived, the white tom greeted her, and they began to chat. "So, you told me about a..Fogpaw?" he asked. Bluelight snorted. "Biggest nuisance in the whole Clan. She won't stop screaming her head off when just a cat is behind her. She's weird." Icestorm purred in amusement. "She seems like a pawful." he mewed. "I wonder how Jaystar can handle her." she growled to herself.
Icestorm gave her ear a lick, and she sighed. Then she heard the bushes rustle. It might just be a fox. she thought. Then she heard pawsteps. She scented Fogpaw, and before she knew it, the screech came. "What is Bluelight doing with a loner?!" Bluelight, Icestorm, and she heard another cat jump. To her dismay, it was Jaystar. "Bluelight!" he called. "What do you think you're doing with this..rouge?" Fogpaw began to smirk, and she screeched, "Bluelight is mates with a loner!" Bluelight groaned silently to herself. "Well, you don't have to announce it to the whole of StarClan." she growled at the speckled gray apprentice. "Let's get back to camp." Jaystar snorted disapprovingly. "He's going to join." she said to Jaystar. He nodded and ran to camp, Fogpaw, Bluelight, and Icestorm following.
As they got back to camp, Bluelight thought, At least he gets to join. She felt a little cheered up by the purrs of greeting she got. She stalked over to the oaktree and curled up in her nest, letting sleep wash over her.
